Barn Energy, a developer of low head river hydroelectric projects in England, has appointed Taylor Keogh to advise the company on its PR and government affairs.  Barn Energy’s first project, at Thrybergh weir on the River Don near Rotherham, is nearing completion, and it has further projects in the pipeline.  Barn’s projects will deliver baseload, non-intermittent, renewable electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 10-11 months a year, and will operate on a long term basis – as long as 100 years.
